Thank you so much for speaking in the International Women's Teleconferences. It was a pleasure to work with someone so professional. To top it off, your breakout session was really wonderful and inspiring! I would love the opportunity to work with you again in the future.

Ms. Rasmussen developed a customized program around our Values, Leader Behaviors and Mission. Her program fully engaged every individual in a very diverse global group. She was able to connect with her audience members on a very personal level with a sensitivity and profoundness which was absolutely impressive.
Unsolicited feedback I received after the session rated this as the most valuable and beneficial competency development program in their experience. There were numerous opportunities for follow up and continued competency development after the meeting as well.

When I began working with Jocelyn, I was unable to deliver a presentation to a group larger than four without physical discomfort, so part of our work centered on performance. However, most of our time was spent on abandoning old habits I had created in the use of my voice.
I learned how to use my speaking voice differently and my intonation had an enormous effect on the words I used to communicate my message in business.
The success I've achieved over the last three years is a direct result of my ability to both listen and speak with a new ear, of the awareness of how my tone can help me to effectively send the right message. Talk about paying [$ pun intended] attention to what you say!

I'm finding that you keep coming back to me as one of the highlights . . . I can just imagine these 40 warriors for the world telling all their friends about the retreat and saying, 'And then, to top it all off, there was this singer!'

In the past, many a caller would address me as "Ma'am. In situations of stress I could actually feel the pitch of my voice rising. While I've never been shy or had difficulty knowing what to say, I would often think, "This is going to sound wrong." In a business setting this can be problematic and embarrassing!

After a period of work and reflection, I now speak at a pitch that is far more appropriate to my age and gender. I do so naturally without consciously "flipping a switch." Even in periods of extreme stress, a moment's pause is all it takes to make sure I am speaking in the best tone possible.

The result of this has been surprisingly noticeable. Several clients began re-asking for me after having dialed my extension and hearing me greet them with my name. I am more confident in meetings because I know that my voice's tone is consistent with the quality of my thoughts. Best of all is that when clients and family members call, they no longer say, "You sound REALLY stressed out!" (Even when I AM really stressed out!)

I've surely been taught the vocal equivalent to "Grace under pressure" and "Don't ever let 'em see you sweat!"
